A NEW free guide to Keynsham’s town centre has been published by
Bath & North East Somerset Council Local Partnerships team.
The guide categorises 200 town centre businesses, in a list
which is hoped will prove useful to visitors and residents, and is
part of ongoing work by the Council to promote Keynsham as a place
to visit and shop.
It also includes a beautiful watercolour map of Keynsham town
centre, by artist Jane Randfield. This gives an aerial view
of showing key local features such as St. John’s Church and the
Memorial Park.
Fifteen thousand copies of the Guide have been produced and
funded by Bath & North East Somerset Council Local Partnerships
team.
These will be distributed to households in Keynsham, to
libraries, and to visitor information points throughout the
region.
It is intended that the Guide will act as a reference source for
local people, to remind them what is available in their own town,
and will attract people from outside Keynsham to give the town a
visit.
