Fairtrade events in Keynsham

KEYNSHAM will be marking national Fairtrade Fortnight (March 1-13) with a number of themed events. 

The town has recently been awarded Fairtrade Town Status by the Fairtrade Foundation. 

A launch to celebrate this achievement will be held in Keynsham Baptist Church tomorrow from 5pm onwards.  Please contact Bath & North East Somerset Council’s Local Partnerships for further details on Tel: 01225 394506.

On Saturday, March 12 the Farmers Market in Keynsham will showcase a variety of Fairtrade products with a special stand.  The market is held in the Fear Institute from 9am-1pm. 

Bar One Nine are putting together a special menu throughout Fairtrade Fortnight.  There will be a variety of savoury and sweet courses on offer all made using Fairtrade ingredients.  Please call 0117 89861974 or visit www.baronenine.com for further details

And throughout Fairtrade Fortnight the Co-operative store will be selling all their Fairtrade products with 20 percent off.
