BATH & North East Somerset Council is producing a Vision for
Sport and Active Leisure for the next five years.
Get Active has six key themes and aims to increase participation
in physical activity by at least one per cent per year.
The six themes are called: Improving Health through Physical
Activity, Towards Inclusion, PE and School Sport, Developing
Community Sport, Fit for Purpose Facilities, Encouraging Sports
Events and Tourism.
Get Active is currently in its consultation stage and all
comments and views can be sent to: alison_baker@bathnes.gov.uk
The closing date for comments is Friday, February 18.
