THE 19th annual Bath Spring Flower Show takes place from
Saturday, April 30 to Monday, May 2 at Royal Victoria Park in
Bath.
The show will be open from 10am-6pm each day and tickets cost
£6.50 for adults and £5 for OAP’s, unaccompanied children and
concessions. Accompanied children under 16 are free and group
discounts apply.
In the Main Floral Marquee, the plants are superbly displayed by
nursery people well used to exhibiting at major shows all over
Britain, many being gold medal winners at the Chelsea Flower
Show.
There is a full programme of horticultural lectures, floral art
demonstrations and plants including fuchsias, geraniums,
carnations, alpines, pansies, alstromerias, house plants, bonsai,
trees and shrubs and many unusual plants for sale.
There are other marquees exhibiting and selling crafts,
gardening items, Bath Beekeepers exhibit, Floral Art marquee, local
Townswomen’s Guilds and Women’s Institutes marquee, competitions`
marquee, British Food & Farming, children’s activity marquee, a
crèche, food and drink, bands and dancers are among the
entertainment at the show.
