THE annual Keynsham Victorian Evening takes places this Friday,
November 26 from 6.30pm.
Town centre roads will be closed from 4pm to allow the stalls
and fairground rides to set up.
Keynsham Town Council Chairman, Andy Wait will be joined on
stage by Bath & North East Somerset Council Chairman, Marion
McNeir, to welcome everyone to the town.
Keynsham’s Christmas lights will be switched on by 6-year-old
Ben Webster, who won the Victorian Evening colouring
competition.
Then, until 9pm there will be a feast of entertainment including
singing and dancing in the streets, a puppet show, a craft fayre at
Temple School, stiltwalkers and elves, festive food and drink, and,
of course, Father Christmas will be making an early appearance.
Keynsham's Ashton Way and Bath Hill East car parks will be free
from 4pm for the Victorian Evening.
And from this Saturday (November 27) and every Saturday until
January 29 the Bath Hill East and St John's car parks will be free
all day each Saturday.
