Keynsham Victorian Evening

Keynsham Victorian Evening

THE annual Keynsham Victorian Evening takes places this Friday, November 26 from 6.30pm.

Town centre roads will be closed from 4pm to allow the stalls and fairground rides to set up.

Keynsham Town Council Chairman, Andy Wait will be joined on stage by Bath & North East Somerset Council Chairman, Marion McNeir, to welcome everyone to the town.

Keynsham’s Christmas lights will be switched on by 6-year-old Ben Webster, who won the Victorian Evening colouring competition.

Then, until 9pm there will be a feast of entertainment including singing and dancing in the streets, a puppet show, a craft fayre at Temple School, stiltwalkers and elves, festive food and drink, and, of course, Father Christmas will be making an early appearance.

Keynsham's Ashton Way and Bath Hill East car parks will be free from 4pm for the Victorian Evening.

And from this Saturday (November 27) and every Saturday until January 29 the Bath Hill East and St John's car parks will be free all day each Saturday.
