  • Manual chairs
75p per hire (up to 2 hours)

We recommend that you book in advance to ensure a vehicle will be available. You will be shown how to operate the vehicle safely and have a chance to practice before embarking on your trip.

Staff can meet you at various drop-off points if you make prior arrangements.

We also offer an escort service if you prefer a companion on your trip, which is open to people with a sensory or mobility impairment.  Please note: this is subject to the availability of volunteers.

Why we needed to move location...

We needed to move out of the old building in Railway Place, as it is located within the area of the SouthGate re-development project.  For more information about the development visit the SouthGate website.  Shopmobility will be moving back to the new SouthGate development when it is completed.
