How many items can I take out on my card?

• All library members can borrow up to 20 items at any one time. This includes a maximum of 8 DVDs and 2 Playstation games. 
• Adults can also borrow up to 10 children's items on their card (please note that this will count towards your total of 20 items and DVD/Playstation limit).

• Use the internet now and search the LibrariesWest Catalogue
• Use a viewpoint terminal in the library. 
• Ask a member of staff when you visit the library

What if something I want is out on loan, or not available from my local library?

Some items aren't available at every library but they can be reserved from any location.

How much does it cost?

• Adults - Books are free to borrow. 
• Children & Young People - Books and talking books are free (to under 17's). 
• Some further concessions are available for the visually impaired and registered disabled (see the charges section as below)
• It does cost you something to hire all the other items but you certainly won't be put off by the charges.
