Reading Together 2008 (previously known as the Great Reading Adventure)

Each year all the libraries in the LibrariesWest area (BANES, Bristol, N. Somerset, S. Gloucestershire, Somerset) choose a book that everyone can read together.

For those that missed the Great Reading Adventure in previous years catch up on Andrea Levy's Small Island (featured in 2007) and Jules Verne's Around the World in 80 Days (in 2006).

The Wind in the Willows
Help celebrate National Year of Reading and the centenary of the publication of Kenneth Grahame's classic Wind in the Willows. His book is an enduring classic that appeals to the young and the young at heart.

Why don't you read it, share your thoughts with other readers, watch out for events in local libraries.
