Computer courses at libraries

Computer access & other courses...

Bath Library is running a series of basic courses to give you the confidence to do all of this and more.

Do I need any previous computer experience?

The introductory course is for absolute beginners so no prior computer knowledge or experience is needed.

The entry level course does require some IT experience.  You will need to have  completed the introductory course or have the relevant computer skills

Think you can't use a computer at 60 then think again we have over 60's courses designed to meet your needs too.

Why study in the library?

All courses are informal and relaxed – run at Bath Central Library, Keynsham Library or Midsomer Norton Library with the training provided by a City of Bath College tutor.

The course is run in small groups of between 8 and 12 students, with hands on tutorial support allowing you to work at your own pace.  Most importantly we aim for you to have fun and become more confident!

What equipment can I use in the library once I've completed my course?

All library members can take advantage of all these great on-line facilities.

You can also book a computer session at any library and all the PC's provide access to the internet, as well as common software packages such as Word, Excel & PowerPoint.  Visit the IT & Internet section to find out more.
