Libraries - Children's Services
All you need to know for ages 0 - 17
All libraries have specific areas,
items & computers for children
and run regular
monthly events.
The main Children's Library is situated in Bath
Library, with an additional activity room for storytimes and
events. A Young People's Collection is available.
IT & Internet access
You can access the internet, use e-mail or type up your
homework at any library.
Children under 16 and students can have up to one hour free
access per day. Further use after one hour is payable at a
concessionary rate. Find out more about the
new service and charges.
Computers in the children's areas will only accept children’s,
teenagers and Young Adult library cards. Computers are
available for adults in separate areas of the library. Find

We can arrange visits at any time of the year on
request. Visits can be arranged to the library, or
members of staff can come out to see classes in individual
schools. So if you'd like to arrange something - just email,
give us a call or see a member of the children's team at Bath
Library.
Please note - certain times of the year can be
very busy, especially over the summer during the National Reading
Challenge and in October during National Book Week, so
pleae get your requests in early!
