If you’re interested in reading, discussing your ideas and
listening to others then why not join a reading group.
A different book is chosen by the group each month, and discussed
at the next meeting. It’s a great way to meet new people and
exchange interesting ideas about the authors and their
work.

Bath Central Library
We run two reading groups at Bath Library. We have a waiting
list, so contact us with your details.

Moorland Road run a daytime reading
group between 2 – 3 pm on the first Thursday of every month.
Please ask a member of staff at the library for more

Weston Library run a daytime reading group
between 2 and 3pm once a month. Places are limited, so
please ask a member of staff at the library for more details..
Keynsham Library run a monthly reading group on
Wednesday afternoons. Contact the library for details.
Saltford Library meet monthly on Wednesday
afternoons. You can find more details by talking to the staff
at the library.
Let us help you run your own Reading Group
You can join your own reading group of up to 10 people.
Fill in a special registration form in the library and get many
benefits. You can reserve up to 10 copies for a charge of £4
and can borrow items for 8 weeks.
In return, the library service will keep you informed of Library
reader events. If you wish, we can refer new members to
you. We can provide support and advice in starting and
running a Reading Group, and will provide space in Bath LIbrary
meeting rooms, or you can hire one of our branch libraries.

ensure you get a full set, and you can give us details of when you
want them to enable you to plan ahead.
