Medical Equipment Training
AIM OF COURSE: To ensure staff are fully
competent in a wide range of medical equipment use.
TARGET GROUP: This course is open to all staff
who are required to use medical equipment as part of their
role.
LEARNING OUTCOMES: By the end of the course
participants will:
- Understand the correct function of medical equipment and its
calibrations
- Have increased confidence when using/assembling equipment
- Understand and implement the decontamination policies and
procedures in relation to medical equipment
- Have discussed legal/professional accountability
