There are four drug and alcohol treatment agencies that are
commissioned by Bath & North East Somerset
Council through the Drug and Alcohol Action Team.
The agencies are BADAS, CDAS, DHI and Project 28 - see
below |

BADAS provides the initial point of contact for all people, or
their families seeking advice information or treatment for a drug
or alcohol problem. This is a free service that takes referrals
from a wide range of health and social care professionals as well
as self referral. Initial assessments are by drop in and
appointment and a wide range of ongoing support and treatment
across all Drug and Alcohol agencies in Bath and North East can be
accessed via this assessment |

CDAS (Community Drug and Alcohol Service) - The
Community Drug and Alcohol Service is a NHS provision for those
with more complex drug and alcohol misuse problems. It provides
treatment directly and advice and support to other
agencies. Access to the Service is through BADAS or other NHS
secondary services. |

| Project 28 is the Young Peoples Drug and
Alcohol service, providing harm reduction advice and information,
Working within the Criminal Justice System, Schools and Collages.
Delivering Basic Drug Awareness Courses to Young People and
Professionals alongside Music Programmes, Alternative Therapy,
Counselling, Outreach service in Bath City Centre and Rural areas
of Bath. This is a free service taking referrals from a wide range
of health and social care professionals as well as self referrals,
alongside working towards a Care Plan. |

DHI - Drugs & Homeless - DHI aims to assist
people who are socially excluded as a result of drug and alcohol
use, physical or mental ill health, poor housing, lack of
employable skills or other means, to lead healthier more integrated
lifestyles and to help create safe and sustainable
communities. |

Families Anonymous -
When drug addiction enters a family via one of its members, the
effect can be devastating. If you have reason to believe or even a
vague suspicion that someone close to you may have a drug
problem, Famanon knows how you feel and what it is like to be
alone with this problem.Those in Families Anonymous have
experienced this too.
