Services Provided by Maple Grove
The services of Maple Grove are directly provided and
managed by Bath & North East Somerset Council for
adults over eighteen with learning difficulties.
The service offers residential care and consists of two
Victorian buildings set in large grounds with gardens to the front
and rear of the properties. The building is in a quiet
location with easy access to the local shops at Bear Flat and
Moorland Road. There are also local bus stops with
transport into Bath City centre every 15 minutes.
Maple Grove provides 24 hour care to nine permanent clients who
each have their own room, some with en-suites.
This is a client-led service, encouraging all clients to lead
and maintain as independent a life as possible, according to their
needs and preferences.
There is a respite service which offers one room for clients who
need either short-term care, or for those who are working towards
living more independently or in sheltered type accommodation.
Maple Grove also provides a supported living service that offers
support to clients who live independently in the community in
various types of accommodation and who maintain their own
tenancies.
The service is registered with the Commission for Social
Care Inspection
