DEAG to encourage services and teams to establish disability equalities targets and undertake disability equality impact assessments. Ongoing :  6 monthly reports to DEAG June 07 and December 07
DEAG to input to development and review of tool kit for use across the Council to complete impact assessment.

DEAG to ask Children’s Services to report on development of services for children with disability in advance of joint area review.

DEAG to establish links with Equalities Groups and Corporate Equalities Framework.

DEAG to input to development of new Resource Activity Centre. Ongoing -  6 monthly reports to DEAG May 07 and November 07
DEAG to encourage and facilitate greater involvement of disabled people and the development of all Services  DEAG to ask all member services to determine how they undertake this work and evidence its effectiveness. Template to be devised for use, and presented to July 07 DEAG meeting.
DEAG to contribute to the corporate strategy to tackle hate crime, eliminate harassment, and promote positive image of disabled people.
