Most families and young people need help from time to time. The
117 Project works with young people aged 10 - 17 years and their
parents and carers to find solutions to difficult problems and
conflicts.
All referrals are made by Social Workers. We can help with a
range of problems, from slight concern about a child's behaviour to
families in crisis. We work closely with social workers to address
the concerns identified by the Family. If there are child
protection issues, we will work with Families to reduce the
risks. We aim to allocate all referrals to a worker within five
days. We also have a duty officer service to help families
facing immediate crisis.
Our staff have a great deal of experience
of helping families and young people. They provide a warm,
safe and respectful environment in which families can work together
on their goals and aspirations. We are based near the Royal
United Hospital in Bath. The Centre is a large three storey
house with its own garden.
