Mini Recycling Centres
Private recycling facilities for people living in flats and
similar accommodation.
What are Mini Recycling Centres?
Mini Recycling Centres (MRCs) are small recycling banks provided
for the exclusive use of residents.
They are a practical alternative to the green box recycling
collection for people living in flats and similar
accommodation.
We can provide you with small recycling baskets on request to
help you store and carry your recycling to the MRC.

paper and cardboard |

can leave the labels on). |

labels on) and aerosols (please remove lids) |

(Tops off, wash & squash). |
How do I get a Mini Recycling Centre for where I live?
First of all, make sure you have the support of other residents
and the person with overall responsibility for the building (e.g.
management company, housing association).
Next contact Council Connect on 01225 39 40 41 or email
councilconnect@bathnes.gov.uk
. They will ask for a contact name and telephone number and will
liaise with the recycling depot to arrange a site visit and
installation of the banks.
Please note, it may take 3-4 months from your first call to
getting the bank installed in order to get the necessary
permissions. Times may also vary if there is a waiting list
at the time.
