From 1st April, for three days, the Planning Advisory Service (PAS) will be providing Bath & North East Somerset Council Planning Services with the skills & expertise of a peer review team. This offer comes at no cost to the authority, as support to develop the service improvement plan as a standards authority. This is not an inspection process but provides observation and the insight of critical friends to celebrate the positive attributes of the service, identify areas for improvement and stimulate widespread discussion about how to become more effective.

The review team will meet with staff & elected members as well as representatives of partner organisations, stakeholders & the general public. Workshops are currently being arranged for Planning Staff, Agents and Members of the DC committee.
