Bath & North East Somerset Local Plan Inspector’s
Report
Following the Local Inquiry, which took place between
February and May 2005, the Council has now received the Inspector’s
Report.
The publication date of the Inspector's report is 17th
May 2006.
Report Availability
The Inspector’s Report can be inspected from 17th May 2006 in
Council offices at;
- Trimbridge House, Bath;
- Riverside and the Town Hall, Keynsham;
- The Hollies, Midsomer Norton;
- and all public libraries within the District including the
mobile library;
- and on the Council’s website
Due to the size of the report its distribution is being encouraged
primarily through electronic means. However, paper
copies can be purchased at the price of £15 + £5
p.&p. A CD version is available at £5 which
includes p.&p.
Next Stages
The statutory process means that the Council will first
need to consider the report and then publish proposed modifications
for comments. The document is scheduled to be
reported to the Council Executive in June, July and September
2006. Modifications to the Plan arising from Executive
decisions are due to be published for public comment in the
Autumn. Therefore please do not
send any representations on the Inspector’s Report to the
Council at this
stage. You will be contacted again
at that time to give you the opportunity to make
representations.
