Grounds Maintenance and Sports Grounds

The maintenance work B&NES undertakes includes:

• Clearance of litter
• Dog mess bins
• Grass cutting
• Hedge Trimming
• Leaf clearance
• Park furniture (seats, signs & bins)
• Pesticide application
• Planting
• Spring & Summer bedding schemes
• Shrub & Rose beds

In addition to maintenance of parks and open spaces we undertake grounds maintenance operations for a number of Council departments and outside bodies. 

• Council run Car Parks & Park and Ride
• Council run Social Service properties
• Primary and special schools
• Highway verges and public footpaths (in 30 MPH limit & below only)

Further we undertake grounds maintenance of Council run sports grounds at the following locations: -

• Bowling Green at Royal Victoria Park, Sydney Gardens and Alexandra Park
• Entry Hill Golf Course
• Lansdown Playing Fields
• Odd Down Playing Fields
• Recreation Ground
• Royal Victoria Park Approach Golf Course (Pitch & Putt)
