Prior Park is a National Trust owned area of outstanding beauty.
This beautiful landscape is a haven of peace and tranquillity,
offering panoramic views of the city and an enjoyable and
invigorating walk of one and a half miles which is very steep in
places.
The Garden is a 10 minute bus ride from the city centre. There
are no general parking facilities. Admission charges with discounts
when using public transport.

Walk Highlights
Prior Park is extremely steep but offers magnificent views from
the top of the park, which is accessible by wheelchair.
Route Information
- Closed on Tuesdays.
- Last admission 1 hour before closing.
- You are welcome to bring your
own picnic.
