The continuing project to make all the Council's public receptions DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) compliant identified a need to improve the reception at Northgate House The project included improving the layout and access to meeting rooms, automatic doors and hearing loops in the reception counter. Many property and IT professionals contact with the Council is via this reception. This work provided the opportunity to update the lighting, redecorate and replace the carpet. The new reception area is now a bright and airy space, fully complies with the DDA legislation and provides a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
