The Asbestos Guide provides comprehensive background information to assist clients in identifying and determining responsibility for the effective management of asbestos-containing materials on their premises.   The Guide should be used in conjunction with the Asbestos Register, where planned or proposed works may disturb or damage asbestos-containing materials.   Within this Authority only approved contractors may undertake works involving the removal/remediation of asbestos-containing materials.
