Consultations on revisions to Part L and Part G - Building
Regulations released.
Consultation documents on proposed revisions to Part L -
Conservation of Fuel and Power and Part G - Hygiene have been
released by the Govt. To read these consultations please follow the

Part L revisions
Part G revisions
No change to building regulation charges for new dwellings and
domestic extensions from 1st April 2008.
Building regulation application charges for new dwellings and
domestic extensions will remain unchanged this April
2008. Small revisions will take place to charges for
other types of work on Table C of the application form, with the
cost bandings over £5000 moving to £5000 bands rather
than the existing £1000 bands. These changes will have effect from
1st April 2008.
