If you lose your dog you should telephone the Dog Warden on 01225 394041 or email council_connect@bathnes.gov.uk to enquire if your dog has been picked up as a stray.  You may also, at this point, report it missing.  Yours and your dog's details will then be entered in our lost dog register.

You could also contact the Council's kennels, your local police station or vet to see if it has been handed in as a stray.

Petsearch (UK)

The Petsearch (UK) website http://www.ukpetsearch.freeuk.com has been developed to help reunite lost pets with their owners, as quickly as possible.

At any one time, there will be someone frantically searching for their lost pet while, unknowingly, it has been found and is maybe at an animal rescue centre awaiting rehoming; or at a local vets.

Petsearch (UK) allows the public to register a lost or found pet on a nationwide database, plus gives them comprehensive information and invaluable resources, thus increasing the chances of the pet being reunited with its owner as quickly as possible.
