Learning Champions

Be a Learning Champion:

  • Free training course
  • A nationally accredited qualification
  • Improved job prospects
  • Share your love of learning

 

Who are Learning Champions?  They are people who:

  • enjoy learning
  • want to encourage and support people back into learning
  • want to make a difference in their community

 

Why be a Learning Champion?  You can support others by:

  • finding out what local people want to learn
  • promoting and supporting free, fun learning activities
  • encouraging local people to move on to other opportunities

 

What do Learning Champions do? They:

  • tell people about courses and learning opportunities in their community
  • help at events to promote learning
  • signpost people to information and advice about learning

 

What’s in it for me?

  • Free training for a nationally accredited qualification
  • Paid casual work
  • New skills to improve your job prospects
