Healthy Schools Programme
A Healthy School is one that promotes the health and wellbeing
of both its pupils and its staff. It does so using a
well-planned, well-taught curriculum that is delivered in a
physical and emotional environment that promotes learning and
healthy lifestyle choices.
The National Healthy Schools Programme is an exciting long term
initiative that helps young people and their schools to be
healthy.
The impact of the Healthy Schools Programme is based on a Whole
School Approach to physcial and emotional well-being on four key
themes.
