Extended services gives parents and carers access
to affordable 8am-6pm “wraparound” childcare and holiday
activities. If your child requires specialist support from other
services schools can provide “quick and easy referral” to those
services. Childcare provision in or through schools will support
you if you are working or if you are studying or training
to return to work.
Schools are typically at the heart of the community they serve
and are ideally placed to offer a range of services and
activities that can have a positive impact on children, young
people and families.
