Introduction
Bath and North East Somerset Council supports the objectives of
increasing openness, accountability and transparency in the public
sector.
We welcome the full introduction of the Freedom of Information
Act in January 2005, and are committed to a proactive approach
regarding access to information.
What we hold
The Council is responsible for a wide range of local functions
that affect the everyday lives of residents. Information held by
the Council is therefore of great relevance and interest to the
public.
