Voicebox 10 was distributed to 1100 residents; 840 of whom
returned the survey, (a 76% response rate). The data was then
weighted to more accurately reflect the demographic profile of Bath
and North East Somerset.
It carried questions on events hosting in Royal Victoria Park, Customer Services, Active Leisure and overall satisfaction with the authority. A
large section of the questionnaire was also allocated to
updating the demographic details of the panel so that a new wave
of refreshment could take place.
If totals do not sum to 100% this is due to computer rounding,
multiple coding, and exclusion of ‘don’t knows’ or non-response to
the question.
The findings of the survey will be widely disseminated across
the Council, and will help establish an extensive ‘bank’ of
information about the views of the people, designed to ensure that
we listen to ALL their voices.
