The Disability Discrimination Act 2005 says all public authorities must produce a Disability Equality Scheme. To make this meaningful we want to find out what it is really like to live as a disabled person in Bath and North East Somerset in 2006. Some of the questions we ask are about services you get from other organisations and companies. The questions towards the end are about your experience of using the Health Service and we will share the results of the questionnaires with B&NES Primary Care Trust.

We know that many organisations already ask you for information but, if we are to make the Disability Equality Scheme effective we need as many people as possible to let us know about their personal experiences.
