What is the Compact?
The Compact is an agreement between voluntary
organisations and statutory organisations about the way they work
together.
The Compact for B&NES is one of many being
agreed across the country. The aim is to improve mutual
understanding and encourage a more effective working relationship.
The Codes of Practice give more detailed guidance on how
this agreement will operate in the four main areas of, Equalities,
Funding, Involvement and Volunteering. The consultation period
is now over.
The Compact Launch was held on July 12th at The Guildhall
in Bath.
