Bath and North East Somerset Council spend approximately £150 million a year procuring goods and services and a further £40 million on construction works and other capital projects.

Responsibility for delivering this diverse range of procurement activities is devolved to specialist teams across the Council. The corporate procurement team provides a strategic support role to these Service Areas and is focussed on ensuring the Council’s Corporate Procurement Strategy is implemented effectively and in accordance with planned timescales.
