South West UK Brussels Office
The South West UK Brussels Office has been established to
represent the interests of the South West Region in Europe; it is
managed by a partnership of local authorities, the South West
Regional Assembly and the South West Regional Development
Agency.
The main functions of the Office are to:
- consult with partners ensuring the South West Priorities and
needs are reflected in new policy;
- maintain an important lobbying role on behalf of South West
interests in the European Union.
- facilitate visits from the South West to meet European Union
officials, Members of the European Parliment and others involved in
EU policy and strategy development,
- arrange seminars
- assist partners with project development
