Matters is a brand new web-site, designed as 'first
stop' information source for and about business in Bath &
North East Somerset.
The site has been developed by the Council working in
partnership with Business West, the Bath branch of the Federation
of Small Business and the Chambers of Commerce for Bath, Midsomer
Norton and Radstock and the Chew Valley.
It contains a wide range of information and web-links
of interest to anyone running or starting a business in Bath &
North East Somerset or interested in relocating to the
area.
Featured topics include:-

The site also boasts a newly updated, searchable Business
Directory which contains contact details for thousands of local

Economic Development has recently launched its new online
Business Directory for the Bath & North East Somerset Area.
The site can be used to search for a service that you require or
to register your own business.
The Business Directory is free of charge and is an excellent way
to promote the businesses in the district.

Property Register
The Economic
Development Service keeps a Register containing
details of both Council and privately owned commercial properties
and land available for sale or rent. The Register is updated on a
quarterly basis and its is possible for staff to search its
database for properties that match your requirement. The results
can be posted or e-mailed to you. Alternatively you may like to
search the database online at www.business-matters.biz/property.asp This
is a new feature which allows you to search for your requirements
and view the results immediately.
