39 Children and Public Entertainment
39.1 Many children go to see and/or take part in an
entertainment arranged especially for them, for example, children’s
film shows and dance or drama school productions, and additional
arrangements are required to safeguard them while at the
premises.
39.2 The Licensing Authority will expect the
Operating Schedule to satisfactorily address safety issues
including the supervision of children.
39.3 The Licensing Authority will consider attaching
conditions to licences and permissions to prevent harm to children,
and these may include conditions drawn from the Pool of Model
Conditions relating to the Protection of Children from Harm which
can be found in Annex D to the Guidance issued by the Secretary of
State for Culture, Media and Sport under Section 182 of the
Act.
