Officers of the service regularly inspect trade premises and advertisements.

During inspections prices are checked to ensure they are displayed correctly and that consumers are not mislead or overcharged.

We will investigate complaints about retailers claiming 'we'll beat any one else's price by 10%' or 'our prices are the cheapest in town.
