Housing and Council Tax Benefit Information System
How to access the 24 hour information line
Bath and North East Somerset Council is
committed to giving you access to information and services in an
effective and efficient manner. As well as being available in offices to help
you we have a wealth of knowledge on both the website and
available through an automated telephone service.
It's available 24 hours a day, 365 days a
year so you can get information and advice at a time that
suits you. Please let us
know if there is anything that you cannot find so we can keep
improving our service.
As general enquiries can now been answered by this automated
service, our staff will have more time to deal with difficult
enquiries and to process your claims.

This is an automated service, however in order to help you get
to the information you are most interested as quickly as possible,
we have set up "hot keys" - a number you can press on your
telephone that by-passes some of the menu
options straight to the pertinent options - that can be used
only during the introduction to the service. Hot keys can be
