The event will be your opportunity to talk with The Emergency Management Unit on how to prepare for and protect yourself, your property and business from the disastrous consequences of flooding.

Following the extraordinary weather events of the last year which led to some major floods in the UK, Bath & North East Somerset Council Emergency Management Unit are arranging Flood Awareness Days to take place at locations throughout B&NES

The Midsomer Norton event will take place in the Council Chamber, The Hollies following completion of the current strategic flood plan assessment.

The Council recommends that anyone living in or having a business or property in the Midsomer Norton/Radstock catchments area and has concerns over flooding should attend.

This event will provide an opportunity for residents to discuss flood risks and familiarise themselves with products that are available to protect themselves and their property from the devastation flooding can bring.

The event is also aimed at providing companies with information which would prove useful in supporting business continuity.

Advice and information is available through the links on our flood pages and links on the right hand side of this page.
