Flood Prevention - sandbags, equipment and advice

Make your own sand bags - you can buy sand and bags separately, thus meaning you can store them indefinitely and only make them into "sandbags" in times of need. Appropriate bags and sand are available from local builders merchants.

Filled sandbags - filled sandbags can be purchased from the Councils highway contractor Ringway on 01761 454950 or from local builders merchants.

Other flood prevention products - The Environment Agency provides a list of removable flood defence products for your home, along with their suppliers. Preparing for a flood (external website - opens new window)
