Caroline House Review Update

Following validation visit carried out on 12th July 2006

The scheme is now working at Level C across all QAF objectives.  All service users have up to date risks assessments and support plans which are regularly reviewed.  The H & S situation has been resolved and other corporate policies and procedures are being implemented as intended.  Staff have also attended POVA Training.

Extra temporary staffing has been put in place and voids have been filled with service users aged 18 to 25.  BSHHA are keen to progress to the steady state contract as soon as possible to enable them to appoint another part time support worker.

Rebecca Potter will continue to monitor the scheme and it is recommended that they now work towards achieving Level B in the QAF which will be due again next year.
