Bath & North East Somerset Council offer a range of locations providing residential care, respite care and day care facilities in the care homes listed below. Links on the left hand side will take you to an introduction to each care home.

New Developments: Reprovision Programme

Bath & North East Somerset Council has a reprovision programme to replace its older Residential Care Homes with three new Community Resource Centres (CRCs), one in Bath, one in Midsomer Norton and one in Keynsham. 

The older buildings are all being re-provided in 3 new Community Resource Centres.

The Bath CRC is now open and provides:

• Cleeve Court Residential Care Home for 45 older people
• 2 Day Centres on the same site:
  • Hazelmeir Day Centre - for older people with dementia
  • Carrswood Day Services - for people with learning difficulties 

Midsomer Norton CRC is now open and provides:

• Combe Lea Residential Care Home for 30 older people
• A Day Centre for older people with dementia
• Greenacres Court, an extra care sheltered housing scheme provided in partnership with Somer Community Housing Trust

Keynsham CRC will be opened in the Autumn of 2008 and will provide the same facilities as the Midsomer Norton CRC.

In Reach Nursing Service

Bath and North East Somerset Council in partnership with the Primary Care Trust (PCT) is piloting an 'In Reach Nursing Service' within its Registered Care Homes. Some staff in our home are receiving additional training and working alongside trained nurses to provide a service to residents which aims to prevent admissions to hospital.  It also enables those residents who have had a short spell of treatment in hospital to come home earlier.
